1. Who We Are

1.1 This Privacy Policy explains how Vipsocmedia SRL ("we", "us", "the Company"), a company registered in Romania, Reg. Com. J40/22928/2023, VAT RO49212995, registered office at Sos. Mihai Bravu Nr. 255, Subsol, Modul S 146, Sector 3, C.P. 030302, București, Romania, collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use viplikes.net (the "Website") and our services (the "Services").

1.2 We are the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy, for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Romanian data protection law.

1.3 This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. In case of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service regarding the handling of personal data, this Policy governs.

2. Scope

2.1 This Policy applies to personal data we collect through the Website, through your orders, and through your communications with us. It does not apply to the practices of social media platforms or other third-party websites, even where you reach them through a link on our Website — see clause 6.

3. Personal Data We Collect

3.1 Order and contact data. Your email address, and the public username or link for the social media account, post, or content you ask us to promote. We do not collect or request the password to your social media account.

3.2 Payment data. Payments are processed by our third-party payment service providers. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers. We retain only a truncated card reference and transaction records sufficient to identify and administer your order, as described in our Terms of Service.

3.3 Identity verification data. Where required for fraud prevention or by our payment providers, we may ask you to provide a photograph of a government-issued ID card or driving licence. This is used solely to verify your identity or ownership of the payment method, and is deleted once verification is complete.

3.4 Communications. Records of your correspondence with our support team, whether by email, live chat, WhatsApp, or Telegram.

3.5 Technical data. When you visit the Website, we automatically receive limited technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, through essential cookies necessary for the Website to function securely. We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, or any other tracking or remarketing technology. If this changes, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.

4. How We Use Your Data, and Why

4.1 To fulfil your order and deliver the Services — necessary for performance of our contract with you.

4.2 To process payments, issue receipts, and handle refunds — necessary for performance of our contract with you.

4.3 To verify your identity or your right to use a payment method, where required for fraud prevention — necessary for our legitimate interest in preventing fraud, and to comply with requirements of our payment providers.

4.4 To respond to your questions and provide support — necessary for performance of our contract with you.

4.5 To maintain records of orders, consents, and transactions, and to provide these to payment providers, acquiring banks, or regulators where required — necessary to comply with our legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in defending against payment disputes.

4.6 To keep the Website secure and functioning correctly — necessary for our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

4.7 We do not use your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes unless you have separately given us your consent to do so, which you may withdraw at any time by contacting support@viplikes.net.

5. Cookies

5.1 We use only essential cookies, necessary for the Website to operate securely and correctly (for example, to keep you logged in or to process your order). These do not require your consent under applicable law, as they are strictly necessary for the service you have requested.

5.2 We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or remarketing cookies. If we introduce any in future, we will update this Policy and implement a cookie consent mechanism as required by law.

6. How We Share Your Data

6.1 Service providers. We share personal data with third parties who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, website hosting, and customer support tools. These providers are only permitted to use your data to provide their services to us, and not for their own purposes.

6.2 Payment providers and financial institutions. As described in our Terms of Service, we may share order and payment-related records with our payment service providers, acquiring banks, and financial institutions, including in connection with a payment dispute.

6.3 Legal and regulatory disclosure. We may disclose personal data where required by law, to comply with a legal process, or to respond to a lawful request from a public or government authority.

6.4 Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and of any choices you may have regarding your data.

6.5 We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

6.6 Links to other websites. Our Website may contain links to social media platforms and other third-party websites. Once you leave our Website, this Policy no longer applies; we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

7. International Data Transfers

7.1 Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection, such as reliance on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

8. Data Retention

8.1 We retain order, payment, and consent records for as long as necessary to provide the Services, and for such further period as required by applicable financial, tax, and consumer protection law, consistent with our Terms of Service.

8.2 Identity verification documents (see clause 3.3) are deleted as soon as verification is complete and are not retained afterwards.

8.3 Where we no longer need personal data for these purposes, we delete or anonymise it.

9. Data Security

9.1 We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who within our organisation can view personal data.

9.2 Payment data is handled by providers who comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS); we do not store full card numbers ourselves.

9.3 No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

10.1 Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: request access to the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; request that we restrict our processing of your data; receive your data in a portable format; and object to our processing of your data in certain circumstances.

10.3 If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

11. Children

11.1 The Services are only available to individuals aged 18 or over, in accordance with our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

12.1 We may update this Policy from time to time. The date of the last revision appears at the end of this document. Material changes will be posted on this page; where required by law, we will provide additional notice or seek your consent.

13. Governing Law

13.1 This Policy is governed by the laws of Romania. Nothing in this clause deprives you, as a consumer, of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are habitually resident.
